How does it work?

The first step of the process is to identify a problem that needs fixing or an opportunity requiring analysis - in each case this needs to be a high-priority project. When a project is finally selected, a custom project outline is prepared where both the course material and overall approach for solving the problem are laid out in clear form for management approval (& support).

A typical project involves regular training sessions throughout the engagement covering soft-skills, risk analysis and analytics theory and end-user training. For example, each week participants’ :

• Get a 1/2 - 1 days of End-User Training (Oracle Crystal Ball, Palisade @RISK, Frontline Risk Solver, Vose Model Risk...)
• Spend a few days practicing their new skills doing value-adding analysis on the project
• A weekly debreifing and coaching session where participants Spend an hour with a coach/senior consultant to share their experiences and difficulties working with simulation & analytics within the organization
