Creating Trend Charts

  To create a trend chart:

  1. Run a simulation in Crystal Ball (or restore results).

    The simulated model should have more than one related forecast.

  2. Select Analyze, and then Trend Charts. Trend Chart button

    In Microsoft Excel 2007 or later, select Analyze, then View Charts, and then Trend Charts.

  3. In the Trend Charts dialog, click New.

  4. Select two or more forecasts to include in the trend chart.

  5. Click OK.

    The trend chart opens as shown in Figure 35, Upward Trending Sales Figures, By Quarter.

As with overlay charts, you can change the scale and proportions of the chart by dragging its edges. See Customizing Trend Charts.
