Consider the following rules when creating bulk constraints:
Bulk constraints can be entered in either Basic Entry or Advanced Entry modes.
The right-hand side of a bulk constraint formula may consist of just a single constant or cell reference instead of a range.
If two cell ranges are entered, they must have the same number of cells.
If a blank cell exists in both ranges at the same point, that constraint is ignored.
The Type column displays Linear, Nonlinear, or Constant if the constraints are all the same. Otherwise, the type is Mixed.
For best performance, cell ranges should contain less than 1,000 cells.
The Efficient Frontier button is disabled when bulk constraints are selected in the Constraints panel.
If a bulk constraint formula has errors, an error is displayed in a red icon for the bulk constraint.
Each cell range must be contiguous, a single rectangular block of cells.
