Step 3: Run the Simulation

To run a simulation, select Run, and then Start Simulation or click Start Simulation icon .

When you run a simulation, the Control Panel is displayed. For more information, select Help in the Control Panel menu bar.

To stop a simulation, select Run, and then Stop Simulation or click Stop Simulation icon .

To reset a simulation, select Run, and then Reset Simulation or click Reset Simulation icon .

Note:

Strategic Finance simulations cannot run with Crystal Ball EPM set to Extreme Speed. If you attempt to do this, a message is displayed.

Note:

Multi-simulations (for example, in the Crystal Ball EPM Bootstrap, Decision Table, and 2D Simulation tools, as well as OptQuest) are not fully supported for Oracle Hyperion Strategic Finance models.
